Welcome to the Striper-Charters website. Come join us on an enjoyable angling adventure exploring the waters south of Cape Cod and around the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Spend a relaxing spring day fly-fishing or light lining the scenic Bass River as the stripers make their way upstream in search of silverside morsels that inhabit the estuaries. Join the colony of seals that frequent the sanctuary of Monomoy Island while you fly-fish the churning white water along the east side high bank. Spin cast or present a fly at Monomoy's Bearse Shoal for hefty line-siders that are feasting on sand eels that school in the slick shoal waters above the tidal rip.

When midsummer arrives with its warmer water the bluefish take center stage.
We concentrate on fishing the shoals of Nantucket Sound or troll the rips between Chappaquiddick and Muskeget Islands. We often find the larger bluefish in the waters east of Nantucket. Fly-fishing with large colorful flies and a wire lead swiftly retrieved will tease the choppers into furious strikes. Casting top water plugs with spinning gear is also a favorite for a good day of fun.

 As we approach the fall, Bonito become more prevalent as they partake in their top water feeding frenzy. They will chase surface flies and smaller top water plugs, very exciting on light gear. In the fall as the water cools, the larger striped bass move back into shallower water and we concentrate more in the Monomoy area, the shoals off the Vineyard and the rips east of Nantucket's Sankety Head.

 We are centrally located on the Bass River, which offers convenience to the best fishing locations south and east of Cape Cod including waters around the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
